Chalmers Library study rooms may be reserved online by visiting reservations.kenyon.edu where you will need to log in with your Kenyon credentials and authenticate via Duo.

In the left-hand menu, select Locations and then click Add/Remove Locations at the top of the screen and select Chalmers Library. From here, you should see all study rooms in Chalmers Library along with their current availability. You can also save this filter so that you may select it directly the next time you log in.

From the list of rooms in Chalmers Library, select a room with an available time slot you are looking for, click on it and you will see the Create a New Reservation screen. Make sure the time you are requesting is correct and click Continue. Next, click on the plus sign next to your room and then select the number of attendees. Under Reservation Details, enter information for all required fields with asterisks, check the box agreeing to terms and conditions for use of the rooms and click Create Reservation.

When you arrive at your study room for your reservation, you must press the Check In button on the panel outside the room within 15 minutes of the start of your reservation or else you will forfeit your room.

You may also walk up and reserve Chalmers Library study rooms on the display panels outside the rooms when available. If a panel is displaying a green light and reads Available, you may press the available time on the screen and it will create a reservation starting from the current time to the next half-hour designation (you may also extend this time on the screen if available). If you have successfully placed a reservation, the panel will change to a red light and read Reserved.

From the display panels, you can also see the day's availability for a room by tapping the three dots button in the bottom right corner of the touch screen. However, you can only reserve the room from the touch panel for the available time displayed on the home screen.
